Salam..aku dak bru kt cni..nk mntk pndpt n tnjuk ajar dr otai2 tupai kt cni..ni spec m0to aku..
Blok=Y-1 1.00 dh port myk n ej0z.
Head,ej0z=stdrd pekak
carb=z bosh (mj 140,pj 25)
spring clucth=faito
spoket=15-37
the pr0blem is=gear 6 kureng mantap wlwpn gear 5 da jejak 140.dpt gak 170(gear 6)kne tunduk.carb sjuk wlwpn enjin pns,tp bajet myk Rm9 =160/170km..ape yg x kene?rpm blh tumbg abis..tlg aku ye

karb sejuk....head kene kasi paras kot..tp kl rpm bleh tumbang abis tp km/h nyer xnak tumbang skali, mcm clutch slip jer...

aku gune jarum panther..2 la ingat jp lagi nk setting blk carb nie coz prestasi tupai nie blom memuaskan hatiku ini.huhuhu.rakan2 tupai bantulah aku..huhu

menurut penerangan yg lepas2, aku peratikan fungsi

pilot jet ni bila pulas trotel 0 - 1/4....

jarum pulas trotlel 1/4 - 3/4

mainjet pulas trotel 3/4 - full

kesimpulanya...........

kalau bobok or senang mati time idling or bwk slow2 just set kat pilot

kalau bobok masa pulas 1/2 maknanya set kat jarum

kalau semput2 or bobok masa full trotel set kat mainjet

betulkan kalau sy salah ye bro2 sekalian...

moto aku even rpm 5 6 rase bobok je..
piston 1.00 port polish..kt hujung mmg mnyk lebih..
menjet 125..
mungkin jarum aku kt takuk atas

bkn kalu letak kt takuk paling atas tu minyak jd makin kurang...maksudnya high rpm minyak lean...
...kalu letak takuk pling bawah lak high rpm jd minyak lebih...maksudnya minyak rich...
...ni yg aku phmla....
sbb kalu letak kt takuk pling atas maksudnya jarum tu dh makin tekan ke bawah & menutup slide lobang menjet tu...so minyak jd lean...
kalu letak kt takuk pling bwh lak jarum tu dh makin naik keatas & bukaan tu makin besar..so minyak jd rich...

man,maksud aku bukan takuk,tp kedudukan jarum tu...bwh means jarum tu duduk nyer ke dalam@takuk atas,jarum tu duk atas means kedudukan jarum tu atas@guna takuk bawah

Mikuni Carburetor Tuning Parts

Have you ever thought how will modifying the jets (main jet, pilot jet etc) in your carburetor can improve its performance?
Let me explain in most simple words.
Okay, now look at the picture. As you can see, from 0-1/4 opening of the throttle, the pilot jet takes the job to deliver fuel to mix with air inside the carburetor.
After the 0 opening and before it reach 1/3 opening, throttle valve takes the job.
After that, from 1/6-3/4 opening, needle jet takes the job.
Next, from 1/4- <3/4, jet needle takes the job.
And finally, the main jet takes the job after full opening of the throttle valve.

Then, how to tune this carburetor?
The basic rule of tuning carburetor is to make the fuel-air mixture remains consistent at any throttle valve opening, but you can also tune it to your preference.
For example, let say I have my bike to have good mid throttle valve opening performance for better pick-up for mid-RPM. So, what I can do is to modify the jet needle only. I need to get a thinner jet needle so that more fuel can be mixed when throttle valve is in 1/4-3/4 position.

One more thing, when you bore the carburetor to get a larger diameter for the airflow, you also need to modify or replace all the jets to a suitable one. You need to get thinner jet needle, larger diameter needle jet, larger main jet and larger pilot jet. If not, the mixture of the fuel-air will become to lean (less fuel, too many air).

Simply said, the bore size of the carburetor air intake must be proportional with the size of the jets.

Now, you can try to modify your own carburetor. Do this with your own risk!
