aku dah survey... kat wikipedia.. hah bace..

Capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) or thyristor ignition is a type of automotive electronic ignition system which is widely used in motorcycles, lawn mowers, chain saws, small engines, Turbine powered aircraft, and some cars. It was originally developed to overcome the long charging times associated with high inductance coils used in inductive ignition systems, making the ignition system more suitable for high engine speeds (for small engines, racing engines and rotary piston engines). Capacitor discharge ignition uses capacitor discharge current output to fire the spark plugs

huhu.. rasenyer CDI ori n racing ni memang ade beza die.. kalau ikut logik.. CDI ori direka untuk motor stendet supaya tahap kelajuan.. dan FC motor tu still boleh diterima akal..maksudnyer.. sesuai untuk moto yang tak diubahsuai sebab jika moto tu dah diubahsuai tetapi gune CDI ori.. current yang dibekalkan kat spark plug tu tak berapa besar dan sesuai untuk motor modi.. ini kerana motor modi memerlukan spark yang lebih besar dari biasa.. tu la sebab kalau dah modi motor.. tak kira la motor ape pun.. pembakaran bahan api tak begitu baik.. rasenye CDI racing ni.. nilai kapasitor dia lagi besar kot.. supaya bole discharge lebih current.. hehehe tu pendapat saye la.. nak CDI tu tahan lame.. ambik CDI ori.. nak untuk laju.. ambik CDI racing.. study

setau aku, bezanya hanya pada cuttoff je..
tp ade dgr citer yg lambang yamaha tu takda cutoff..
untuk 125z ni, cdi rasenye kalo pakai standard je lagi elok kot..

sbb pakai yg standed pun dah boleh laju dah.. standard la 2stroke..
rase2 kalo moto2 4stroke baru bnyk beza kalo tukar cdi..

bro.. aku tak pasti la pasal api kuat n tak kuat ni.. tapi setahu aku.. kapasitor ni ade banyak jenis tapi function die same jer.. charge&discharge current.. so CDI ni sedikit sebanyak mempengaruhi api untuk motor.. sebab.. bile die discharge current.. kan current to akan pegi spark plug juga.. sebenarnya aku dah lupe ape jenis capasitor yg digunakan.. tapi kalau tak silap aku.. maybe hampir sama jenis dengan yang digunakan untuk lampu bervoltan tinggi.. bagi kapasitor yang nilai die lagi besar.. akan ambik mase untuk discharge n charging balik.. taktau la racing punye gune ape... ape2 pun kalau ade sape2 yang ade CDI yang dah rosak.. hantor kat aku sebab aku ni teringin nak tengok ape benda yg ade kat dalam perut CDI tu.. kut2 boli modi... hehehehe

kelebihan CDI racing ni die buang cutoff,n penyampaian api spark konsisten walaupun rpm tinggi..

2stroke xyah pakai racing nye if takat nak mensekilo n wat daily.. mmg secare logiknye xde cutoff pun 125 ni,xkire la cap ape pun cdi korang..

tapi klau nak wat men trek/racing,mmg patut tuka la,supaye korang xde shortage spark api,n enjin korang leh running lagi tggi (14k rpm keatas).. CDI racing cubprix pakai dulu rm800 tu..

4stroke kene tuka CDI kalau nak power sebab diorang ade cutoff n sebab karakter enjin yang berputar 720 degree (2kali pembakaran).. klau takat CDI rm200-300 tu die buang cutoff je,tapi klau yg rm500-800 tu fully adjustable.. member aku pakai BRT setting pakai remote,2 kali spark,siap leh kuar api lagi kat ejos,enjin leh run sampai 16k rpm..

rasanya restristion kat tupai ni pada ekzos jer..cuba korang pasang ekzos aftermarket,rpm kompem bleh pi lg tinggi

aku ade sebiji CDi racing..body die warna oren..brand tak tau sbb aku beli 2nd kat mat rempit..hehee..ada beza skit kalau tukar ke cdi racing ni..tapi sekarang aku dok pakai yang stended M je..

beza bila tukar cdi (keadaan setting mto yang sama):
-pembakaran lebih rata bila dah masuk ke rpm>5k
-bobok jadi kurang
-pickup yang agak lancar n lebih ringan

sebab sebelum tu g setting carb guna CDI stended ori..takut firing yang berbeza dari CDi racing tu buat piston jadi tak tahan pulak..sebelum ni pon ade dgr2 gak dari seseorang,kalau tukar CDI cop yamaha dgn COP M pon nak kena setting balik..tapi tak tau la kesahihannya..dari segi logik masuk akal gak kalau betul2 mapping CDI tu berbeza,setting pon mesti berbeza..
